Still here! Updates on development
Another two months have passed and I've yet to see the light at the end of the tunnel... Unfortunately my lack of experience building a multiplayer is the main reason my progress stopped to a crawl since I began with the latest refactor. I'm mostly done with the new deterministic code and I'm doing bug hunting. Still, it seems like it will take another week or two before I get to have a stable build of the game (again).
Other responsibilities outside of this game are also taking a lot of my work time (and mental energy) ... But I hate giving excuses. Either you bring an excuse or give a solution. I rather look for the solution. And that's what I'm doing. I'm still trying to avoid doing crunching for as much as I can, but there's probably no escape to that anymore.
So let's get back to work. By the way, here's a small screenshot with our heroes looking at the sky. Good things are coming. Stay tuned!
